Cesare did his studies at the university of Pavia, in the north of Italy, where he got his master’s degree in organic chemistry with a thesis on “supramolecular cages for CO2 absorption” under the supervision of Prof. V. Amendola. His current project is about manufacturing polymer containing main group elements. In his free time he enjoys photography, operas, D&D, and illeism.

Bhargav did his BS-MS at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research - Thiruvananthapuram, India. His master's thesis was on "zinc hydride compounds for catalytic activation of unsaturated molecules" under the guidance of Dr. Ajay Venugopal. He works on phosphorus containing polymers in our group. In his free time, he likes to explore new places, hike and watch cricket.

Christoph completed his BSc. at the University of Sheffield before coming to the Freie Universität for his MSc. degree. He carried out his master's thesis in the AG Plajer working on epoxide/heteroallene ROCOP and is now doing his PhD in the group working on fluorinated hetero-atom containing polymers. In his spare time he enjoys watching live music, reading and watching football.

Merlin grew up in Berlin Lichterfelde, where he went to school and graduated from high school. He then studied chemistry for his bachelor's degree and started working as a student assistant at AG Plajer, where he also wrote his bachelor's thesis on epoxide/anhydride/CO2 ring-opening terpolymerization catalysis. He is currently studying for his master's degree. In his remaining time, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and daughter and playing music with his brother.

Jenny is from Brandenburg. She did her bachelor thesis in the AG Weinhart on novel thermoresponsive polymethacrylates. She did her first internship in AG Plajer and is now doing her master thesis here working on ROCOP. She is a trainer of two HipHop/Cheerleading groups and tries to dance as much as possible in her freetime.
